BVSc (Hons I) MANZCVS (Emergency and critical care; Pathology: anatomical and clinical) Diplomate of the American College of veterinary pathologists

Dr Margie Roser

Dr Margie has had an interesting life and lived all over Australia starting her career in Canberra. You might even recognise her from the radio! Margie was a regular veterinary presenter on 2CC and 4BC. Her knowledge and engagement were recognised when she was awarded Best Newcomer On-Air at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards. Margie has 2 lovely girls Elke and Heidi with her husband Peter. In her spare time, Margie enjoys renovating, singing and spending time with her ragamuffin Cairn Terrier, Evie.

Dr Margie graduated from Sydney University with first class honors in 2005. After working for 4 years in general practice, she moved into emergency medicine and critical care. During this time she gained Membership qualifications in the area and worked in specialist hospitals. The patients she saw ignited a passion for pathology - the study of diagnosis. She pursued this field entering a pathology traineeship and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (American Specialist) in 2016. Dr Margie has helped thousands of animals through her diagnostic work, but missed seeing both patients and clients first hand. In 2023 she made the decision to return to clinical practice and provide her specialist diagnostic services direct to patients.

Dr Margie has a special interest in diagnosing complex cases, ensuring high quality patient focused outcomes. But importantly she enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, including oncology, endocrinology, dermatology, preventative medicine and geriatric care.
